Documentary by Keira Redfern
He wanted a revolution. At 22 years old in Ealing, West London, Jay formed the most unique, most iconic and the funkiest band of all time. Jamiroquai.
In this documentary, we take a look at the uncovered truth about Jamiroquai, including an in-depth look at Jamiroquai’s history, the crazy stories behind their music videos like the hit single ’Cosmic Girl’ ’s video which filming for was very difficult, interesting stories behind their songs like the groundbreaking hit ’Virtual Insanity’, the funniest moments, Jay’s passion towards the environment and anger towards the press, paparazzi and selfish politicians.
Where the journalists wrote silly things about them, paparazzi tried to anger them and the public constantly tried to stop them from making “black music“. Jamiroquai are still standing and still being such huge inspirations to so many.
Through the highs and lows; it’s fair to say that Jamiroquai has had their fair share of high times.
