(HD) Sleeping Beauty - Live Action: Princess Aurora’s Movements

Disney’s Sleeping Beauty (1959) is a masterpiece in animation, and Walt used real actors to give life to the characters of this movie. He used to make animation through live action since Snow White (1937) which was the first animated film ever. Helene Stanley (who’s performing Aurora) knows a lil’ bit of ballet. She’s supposedly acting the sequence 8 of the film, where Aurora dances and sings the medley Once Upon A Dream. You can see the animators drawing the character Aurora while focusing on Helene’s movements. One of them, and my favorite animator is Mark Davis (at 0:13 ). Hope you enjoy it.
