Tongchuan Test Center inaugurated with YF-100K rocket engine test

According to China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), the Tongchuan Test Center (铜川试验中心) was inaugurated in Shaanxi Province, northwest China, on 24 April 2023, with a test of the YF-100K rocket engine. The Tongchuan Test Center is presented as “Asia’s largest thrust liquid rocket engine test stand”, having two test stands and supporting a “basic thrust of 700 tons”. YF-100K is a “130-ton reusable liquid oxygen/kerosene rocket engine” that might be used by the Long March-10 launch vehicle (长征十).
