Some civilians trapped in Gaza allowed to cross into Egypt as Israeli airstrikes continue
The first group of around 1,000 civilians, including Americans, left Gaza after weeks of Israeli bombardment following the Hamas attacks. The deal struck among several nations also allows people badly wounded to be taken for treatment in Egypt.
