Here’s a run down of how we recorded Pinky’s Blues, along with my rig, the studio set up and what mics our engineer Chris Bell used for ultimate guitar tone. Pinky’s Blues was recorded in 3 days, live off the floor, with no overdubs and no redos. Everything was played spontaneously, in the moment, exactly like we do onstage. The guitar, drums, vocals were all set up in one large room. Here you’ll see us wrapping up the sessions.
