Nine-year-old Shaolin monk takes Chinese social media by storm

Ai Ke, a nine-year-old Shaolin monk from Wuhan, has gone viral on Chinese social media for his kung fu skills, which he showed off in footage from Sunday at a Shaolin temple in the Chinese city of Dengfeng.
“I can protect my family by learning the martial arts, I always dreamt about learning martial arts when I was very little, so here I come,“ said Ai Ke at his temple adding protecting his granny and becoming a kung fu star has motivated him to keep training.
Shaolin training is hard to endure and for the nine-year-old sensation, this is no exception, as part of his training involves toughening his head and hands with long handstand sessions.
