Golden Eagle attacks and kills sika deer

Researchers have been using camera traps to monitor Amur tigers in the Lazovskii State Nature Reserve in Primorye, in the southern Russian Far East, for about five years. A golden eagle attacks and catches sika deer in dense forest, which are very unusually. Normally golden eagles only attacks in the open.
