Clashes during Barack Obama’s visit in Athens

A couple of days before the Polytechnic Uprising anniversary several thousands protesters from political organizations, unions, as well as worker and student unions protested Barack Obama’s visit in Athens. The anti-US protesters tried to break the lockdown in the center of Athens, leading to clashes with riot police. At the same time Barack Obama had dinner with Greece’s leaders.
