Russian Missiles Strike Dnipro Hospital, Dozens Of Drones Hit Belgorod, Blast Near Azovstal Plant

A Russian missile strike hit a medical facility in the city of Dnipro on May 26, killing at least two people and injuring several. Russia’s Ministry of Defence said its forces carried out an overnight attack on Ukrainian ammunition depots. Ukraine says it downed 10 Russian missiles and over 20 drones launched towards Kyiv, Dnipro and other eastern regions. The governor of Russia’s Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, says several drones hit the region in the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, Putin ally Dmitry Medvedev warned that the West is underestimating the risk of nuclear war. Medvedev said that peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine are “impossible” as long as Zelensky remains in power. Chinese envoy Li Hui met the Russian foreign minister in Moscow. Hui called for an immediate ceasefire, while leaving Russia in possession of the Ukrainian territories it occupies.
