It took me TWO WEEKS to complete this special event, was it worth it? (PlanetSide 2)

There was a Summer event for PlanetSide 2 and the unlock rewards were a unique set of illuminated vehicle trims, one for the Harasser and one for the Corsair. I completed these limited directives on all three main factions which took me quite a long time and was disappointed with the way the Harasser versions looked. Was it worth it?
