Halifax Shipyard: Shipbuilding Time Lapse

Recorded from September 2009 to October 2010, a time-lapse 3 minute video of the building of the Atlantic Condor, an offshore supply vessel. Over 250 employees worked on the ship. Over 1,400 tonnes of steel was used, along with over 12 tonnes of paint, 85km of electrical cable and 600 square metres of hemlock for the deck. Visit to support Nova Scotia shipbuilding.
