Streetscape performs to “Smile” by One Way on The Don Harron Show (1984). - No copyright infringement intended - Formed in Calgary, Alberta by Colin “Steamboat” Bloudoff, Streetscape was a pioneering Canadian group instrumental in introducing Popping, Boogaloo and Funk Styles to Canada between 1982-1985. Streetscape quickly grew from local and regional success to become the foremost street dance troupe of its kind to be exposed coast to coast on a national platform. Known for a combination of funk styles, upbeat presentation, and tight precision, Streetscape co-created and starred in Canada’s premiere street dance theater production “Taking It To The Streets”, revolutionized how corporate fashion shows were presented, and were featured on numerous award shows, commercials, TV specials and more.
