How to animate behind a mask (also known as the pan behind effect) in Adobe After Effects In order to create the ’pan behind’ effect in After Effect just set a keyframe for both the mask path and the position. Now use the ’pan behind’ tool to move the logo or graphic (works as well for text layers) out of the mask. The mask will stay in place.
