Meet this weeks feature artist, South Summit! This was our first ever episode, we have come a long way since and are so happy that South Summit got to set us off on our journey. Enjoy this acoustic version of their song “River Days“.
South Summit are an exciting Perth band who just finished a massive Aussie tour. Zaya (lead vocal), Nemo (backing vocal/rhythm guitar), Fynn (lead guitar), Josh (bass) and Nath (drums) have been playing together in various combinations for a number of years. A shared love of indie and alternative rock, reggae fusion and all in between, brought them together in early 2020. They spent the year writing and performing to forge their sound. The have developed a large following and have played several sold out shows in and around Perth. 2022 started with a bang, with a sold out single launch at Badlands and a massive national tour.

Live on Local would like to acknowledge and pay our respects to the traditional custodians of the land in which our production takes place, the Whadjuk people of the Noongar nation. This land was stolen and has never been ceded. We are grateful to be able to work, live and learn on their country. This always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
