It all started in Marseille, in 1929.

The first political-mafia alliance in France is sealed. It continued during the Second World War. Carbone and Spirito dive into collaboration. The next generation, for its part, joins the resistance. Part 2 - In the services of France
In 1945, France must restore public order, fight the communists and defend its colonies.
The government extends the villainous pact established with the Corsican mafia. In exchange for his services in Marseille, Tangier or Hanoi, the French Republic and the American CIA offer impunity to the second generation of Corsican godfathers. They are prominent in heroin trafficking, work with Cosa Nostra, run gaming circles and practice intimidation within the special services. Until the United States declared war on the French Connection. One man escapes: Étienne Léandri, who stands on the edge of both worlds and forges close ties with the politician Charles Pasqua...
Part 3 - The Fel Republic
At decolonization, the Corsican mafia was down on its knees.
The French Republic allows him to recover, by integrating him into the corruption system of the Elf oil company. At the heart of this mechanism is the essential Étienne Leandri. A tool of postcolonial domination, Elf relies on the submission of African heads of state and on the children of the Corsican diaspora in Africa. After making their fortune in Africa, Corso-Africans settled in France. They benefit from high protections at the top of power, establish links with the godfather of Corsica-du-Sud and the Sea Breeze gang and rely on the compromise of certain nationalists to accomplish their dream: transforming Corsica into a mafia paradise . But betrayals, the lure of profit and the game of political alternations cause their plans to falter.
