A crazy play occured at the end of third quarter of the game between BYU and Arizona State, when BYU QB Jaren Hall threw an interception to Arizona State’s Merlin Robertson. He ran down the sideline and returned the ball 60 yards down the field before BYU running back Tyler Allgeir chased him down and stripped the ball from him. BYU fell on the loose ball and recovered it, 60 yards away from where the play originally started. BYU went on to defeat Arizona State 27-17.
