Recessional

Well, here I am with another full video - not only a full video, but a full crossover/, I’m a little surprised myself. X3 So … a while back I wanted to test out my newly developed crossover skills (at least until I can concentrate enough to make a sequel to that Bambi & Kovu video I did last year). The video became SimbaXKovu, because what better way is there to build crossover skills than to work with a pairing that technically doesn’t exist? Long story short, I was looking to approach the relationship from an angle other than “OMG luk at all mah awsum manips!!!!1” It kind of became a storytelling experiment as well – I wanted to highlight Simba being caught between his family and his love affair, and how him lying to himself and to others only increases the prejudice and makes the situation worse. Yeah. The story should be pretty straightforward (Simba and Kovu are secretly involved, Simba feels bad, Nala & Kiara are confused, he tells them and everything goes to shit, Kiara and Kovu and Simba all run away to the lake, where they find themselves face-to-face with each other and must reconcile) yada yada yada. But anyways, I put a ridiculous amount of work into this, so I hope you like it! Just ignore the particularly bad manips please:D
