Realistic Portrait Drawing with Charcoal Pencil

A timelapse that takes you from toning the paper to a completed charcoal portrait of portrait is based on a wonderful project from Cornelia Hernes patreon. Cornelia supplied the photo reference and in four parts showed the way for me to complete my drawing. I am always awed by the transformative power of charcoal, I enjoy using it in all its forms compressed, willow and powder. Charcoal is truly a wonderful and versatile medium.
