This love song exist in fourteen version with the multiple dialects of the occitan language. It would have been written by Gaston III, count of Foix and Béarn (Fébus) during the 14th century. “Aqueras montanhas“ ou “Se canta“ est un chant occitan traditionnel considéré comme l’hymne de l’Occitanie.
