Menuet by Johann Krieger (1651-1735) - Chromatic Harp Cover by Reidun Schlesinger

I chose to record this original (piano) version rather than the one adapted for lever harp as in “Pieces classiques 2 pour la harpe celtique“, where the g# is omitted. This piece can be found in many piano books, in this case it’s the first piece in “The Joy of Baroque“ (musicsales). Note the use of the 5th finger in the left hand for the 5-note patterns in the 2nd part. This type of cross-strung chromatic harp has two whole tone scales crossing and complementing each other. Read more at: This channel is completely dedicated to the modern cross strung chromatic harp (6/6), and it is mainly to give other chromatic players a chance to look at my fingers & technical choices. I’ll be exploring mainly harp & piano repertoire, watch this space if you are learning this instrument! I created a playlist with my chromatic mix from my main channel and duo Amala’s channel, which you can find here: htt
