Held on the occasion of the “Agata Mróz-Olszewska Memorial 2024“.
The Dominican team continued their good performance from the previous set into the third set and led the hosts for quite some time. After an ace from Bethania de la Cruz, who retired after the match, the score was 3:6.
The players from the Caribbean did not slow down and moments later they were four points ahead. Only then did the warning signal appear for the Polish team, which thanks to its opponent’s mistakes, took a 13:12 lead. Malwina Smarzek appeared on the field for quite a long time and she was the one who led the Polish team’s attack. However, the set was tight until almost the end. It wasn’t until the 20th point that we left Dominica, and we won the final set 25:21.
