The Effects Of Alcohol And Other Drugs on Driving Abilities” is a 1978 color educational film presented by the South Carolina Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse. This anti-driving under the influence film was made possible from a grant by the South Carolina Governor’s Highway Safety Programs and features footage of controlled experiments featuring four test subjects as they drive through a set up course sober, drunk, and under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Produced by the Instructional Services Center at the University of South Carolina, the film includes typical 1970s party attire and vehicles and is shot in the Seabrook Island area of South Carolina.
