Heavy rain in Sochi led to the flooding of roads and houses in the Central and Khostinsky districts. The Bzugu River overflowed its banks and lifted cars on the roads. Substations were flooded, causing power outages. A storm warning is in effect in Sochi, the rains intensified in the evening. “The Central and Khostinsky districts have now taken the main blow,” the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory reported in Telegram. The emergency teams of all resource-supplying enterprises have been strengthened. More than 1.1 thousand people and about 400 pieces of equipment are ready to eliminate the consequences.
