How to paint florals in watercolor. In this video, I am sharing watercolor tips on painting beautiful cherry blossom flowers.
Colors used: Burnt sienna, Alizarin Crimson, Paynes Gray, Yellow ochre, Olive green, Quinacridone Sienna, Moonglow.
I use a variety of watercolor paint brands (Daniel Smith, Holbein, , Nevskaya Palitra) but all of them are professional watercolors. When painting, I had to apply so much paint just to get any pigment out of them. Professional paints seem to be more economical.
Paper: Arches 300gsm 100% cotton.
Brushes: I use a variety of brushes by different brands: Silver Brush, Chinese calligraphy brushes from Blue Heron Art and Michael Solovyev, squirrel brushes by Roubleff, synthetic by Escoda and Etchr, and a few other different brands. I think it is helpful to buy good quality brushes but most important is the time you spend
