The history of ceramics in Korea is very long.
Around 4900 BC, during the Neolithic Age, ‘comb-pattern pottery’ and ‘stone-pattern pottery’ spread throughout the country. Around 1000 BC, ‘plain pattern’ earthenware without any patterns was used.
