## Ingredients:
### For the Pastry:
- 1 package (17.3 oz) puff pastry (2 sheets), thawed
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
### For the Pastry Cream:
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 4 large egg yolks
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
### For the Icing:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2-3 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
## Instructions:
1. **Prepare the Puff Pastry:**
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out each puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface to smooth out any creases.
- Cut the pastry into 3 equal rectangles. Place the rectangles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops of the pastry rectangles with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and crisp. Let cool completely on a wire rack.
