Metal detecting an old DROVERS ROAD in Perthshire, Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 XP D

Another day another field, and this time joined by Martyn. This is a previously undetected field and the farmer tells me there’s an old drovers road which runs across it. A drove road was the route ‘cowboys’ or what we call ‘drovers’ used to take whilst ‘driving’ their cattle to the market in town.
