Description: In the middle of the Amrit Sagar (Lake of Immortality), stands the Darbar Sahib “Palace of the Lord“ or Hari Mandir “divine temple“, nicknamed the Golden Temple. This shrine, built between 1588 and 1601 by Guru Arjun, is the spiritual center of the Sikhs. A Maharaja of Punjab accompanies the operator on his tour of the city.
