« My Ripping Process »
The audio in this video is taken straight from the raw recording; no audio manipulation such as EQ-ing or declicking done whatsoever.
Prior to ripping, the record is dry-cleaned with a carbon fiber brush to remove surface dust. Record is then played through and recorded with a Zoom H1n, directly plugged into my passive preamp, in uncompressed .wav (24bit 96khz). Both video and audio is then transferred to my PC, where I edit them together as well as add graphics using Vegas Pro. The audio remains completely unaltered here apart from being peak-normalized to reach an optimal level. The video is then rendered at 4K with a compressed stream of audio. Before uploading, the resulting rendered video is muxed together with an uncompressed .wav (24bit 96khz) of the video’s audio using MKVToolNix, resulting in completely unharmed, uncompressed audio prior to being uploaded to YouTube. In other words - this is as pure as it can get! :)
