Charlton Athletic v Millwall 10-09-1988

Having lost at home to Champions Liverpool on the opening day, Charlton had an excellent 3-1 win at West Ham United. Newly promoted Millwall followed up their 2-2 at Villa with a narrow home win over Derby County.
