Video by NEBELKRÄHE (script), Afrarina (camera operator) and Harddrive Media (cut/editing) „ephemer“, das dritte Album der Black-Metaller NEBELKRÄHE, erscheint am 27. Oktober 2023 über CRAWLING CHAOS RECORDS. Das Album enthält sieben Songs mit einer Gesamtspielzeit von 50 Minuten und wird in den physischen Formaten CD (Digipak) und LP sowie digital (Download/Stream) veröffentlicht. Es handelt sich dabei um die erste neue Musik der Band seit zehn Jahren („Lebensweisen“, 2013). Für den Sound zeichnet Victor Bullok (Woodshed Studio; u. a. Anomalie, Dark Fortress, Farsot, Secrets Of The Moon) verantwortlich, das Schlagzeug wurde bei Christoph Brandes (Iguana Studios; u. a. Imperium Dekadenz, The Spirit, Thron) aufgenommen. Als Gäste sind unter anderem Noise (Kanonenfieber), sG (Secrets Of The Moon, Crone) und Markus Stock (Empyrium, The Vision Bleak) auf dem Album vertreten. Den Albumtitel kommentiert Gitarrist Morg wie folgt: „Die meisten Wörter verlieren mit der Zeit ihren Reiz – bei ‚ephemer‘ geht es mir genau umgekehrt: Je öfter ich dieses Wort höre, lese oder denke, desto spannender wird es. In seinem sanften Klang scheint seine Bedeutung – ‚flüchtig‘, ‚vergänglich‘ – bereits mitzuschwingen. Insofern war es der perfekte Titel sowohl für das Cover-Foto wie auch für ein Album, das sich mit Träumen und Illusionen, enttäuschten Hoffnungen und anderen ‚existenziellen Nichtigkeiten‘ des Menschseins auseinandersetzt.“ Tracklist 1. Guitarist Morg comments on the album title as follows: “Most words lose their appeal over time - with ’ephemer’ I feel the exact opposite: the more I hear, read or think about this word, the more exciting it becomes. In its gentle sound, its meaning - ’fleeting’, ’transient’ - already seems to resonate. In that sense, it was the perfect title both for the cover photo and for an album that deals with dreams and illusions, dashed hopes and other ’existential trifles’ of being human.“ ---
