Daily life in the aviary: Cinders, Gelert, Zena, Meep, Reuben, Angophora

Gelert is yelling to empty air, probably cackling over the punchline of his latest joke. Angophora shows us how to get water out of the water cups. Meep (who didn’t meep for us) was caught snuggling with Reuben in the Thunderdome. Either they were cold, or they’re BFFs now. There must have been something in the air, because Cinders and Gelert were also caught spooning in the same sling, but Gelert said - “Move along; nothing to see here. I just accidentally ended up on the wrong sling in the dark last night and it was so warm and snuggly that I stayed. I didn’t realise Cinders was in here till she kicked me in the back“. This excuse doesn’t hold water because he was inside in the old dude night quarters overnight, but Mandi let the excuse stand. Teddy is snoozing alone, still a little sad and missing Walter.
