The Joker Makes Batman Laugh - Batman: The Killing Joke
The joke was just so funny and stupid that not even Batman himself could resist laughing at it. For those that didn’t get it:
The punch line starts when Joker says, “Hey! I got this flash light with me! I’ll shine it across the gap between the buildings and you can walk across the beam and join me!“ That’s the hilariously stupid part considering you can’t walk on light, so Joker’s joke was part of making the first guy bullshit the second one, hence why he says, “What do you think I am, crazy? You’d just turn it off when I’m halfway across.“ But he wouldn’t be able to make it halfway considering no one can walk on light, so the second guy would fall to his death, LOL! In a way, this also symbolizes Batman trying to offer Joker help. Batman represents the first guy while Joker represents the other. Just offering false hope.
