HOW TO AVOID A RACING ACCIDENT

I pooped just a lil’ as I booked it through the last turn at Tsukuba circuit doing a buck thirty and came across a spun out Alfa right on the apex of the turn. He was just.. right there... on the racing line... in a tightening bend and I was coming in hot. There was only a split second to make a choice on where to go - right, left, RIGHT?! LEFT?! I saw that maybe I had a slim chance on the outside and took it, avoiding the stricken Alfa by centimeters.. and it was actually rolling toward me as I passed it. On the brakes, car goes light, now it’s sideways, go for the outside gap, drop the Starlet back to second gear, punch the throttle and blast past onto another fast lap all in the time it takes for you to take a deep breath. Don’t hunt speed. Master it.
