Massive Antique Meat Slicer Restoration - 1895 Cast Iron Alexanderwerk

In this restoration video I will bring back to life an antique meat slicer produced in Westfailia, Germany. I bought it from an antiques website thinking that it would make a great restoration. This antique kitchen tool is very beautiful and massive but beaten up by time. The restoration process was pretty tough because all the parts was very rusty and stuck. As well the meat slicer was build from many parts that I had to restore it one by one. Took me almost two weeks to achieve this result. As well the paint on it was lead positive so I had to dispose of the waste and wear a mask all the time. I love how this antique meat slicer turned out and I’m happy that I could save it from decay.
