Making a Pottery Ceramic Bird House / Nest Box on the Wheel : Prototype attempt : 1

My first attempt and prototype 1 of a bird house / nest box made on the potters wheel. Thought I’d try to throw a sort of enclosed bottle with a hole cut out and a lug handle added above the hole to try to keep the rain out. Enclosing the pot seemed a bit easier than making a roof and attaching it. You could make a much smaller one I suppose for the tiny birds. Anyway we’ll see how it gets on.
