Claustraphobia - Your Silent Face (Cover Version 2022)

Growing up in Macclesfield in 1980s New Order were a big influence on a lot of people. I remember hearing “Blue Monday“ for the first time - this song changed the face of electronic music in my view. Shortly thereafter, New Order released “Power, Corruption and Lies“ which contained the majestic “Your Silent Face“. I remember seeing Gillian and Stephen from New Order in WH Smith in Macclesfield during the 1980s - I think they were looking at magazines. A couple of years ago, I thought I would have a go at a cover version on YSF. Well, this is what I did. The original is a wonderful song and reminds me of Kraftwerk in many ways (Europa Endless springs to mind). Thanks New Order for the music. Legends.
