Welcome to Crimson Guitars In this video, Ben looks at yet another faked Gibson guitar, this time a 2005 Gibson supreme. These fake Gibson guitars, known as Chibson’s, are getting better and better in quality and Ben shows you the most obvious things to look out for. The guitar even has faked Grover tuners and cheap Epiphone pickups.. for a while Ben believed ’someone on the internet who said that the F on the pickup meant ’fail’ and it was a reject Epiphone pickup but he has been put right and edited out the offending footage. The fake guitar throws up a few surprises but in the end, it is the moral question that owning one throws up that is the focus.. could it be that Gibson themselves are complicit? You decide!
