Homemade Sugar Free fruit Pastille. No oven, no tumble dryer, Kept for Years
Friends, hello!
Today I’m making pastille from grapes. I do not use sugar in the recipe, as my grapes are very sweet. Pastille land on parchment, after lubricating the sheet with a small amount of vegetable oil (thus, the finished pastille is easy to remove from paper). I dry in a sunny place for about 1-3 days (drying time depends on temperature and humidity). It took me 3 days to dry this particular pastille. Ready pastille should not stick to your hands.
Ingredients:
2 kg grapes (any variety)
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp wheat flour
1/2 tsp turmeric for color
vegetable oil
for filing:
nuts (pistachios, hazelnuts)
