Low Tide Drainers - Desert Point - Surfing Lombok, 2nd October 2020

Desert Point is well known for its inconsistency, and that’s exactly how we’d describe it during our time there. We watched mushy 1ft waves all day long, until it suddenly switched on over a 5 minute period as it approached low tide. The waves only lasted around an hour, before suddenly going completely flat again! There were a few nice waves out there during that time, but the previous day was much better. We had a few issues with our water camera, so the footage is not as crisp as we’d like, but the problem should be fixed now ready for the next session.
